Only just heard this for the first time today , sounds like a belter of a record , yet I can't find any reference to it when I search ?

Can anyone throw any light on this sound please...... ph34r.gif I just love the piano tinkering in the intro

I am starting to wonder if the artist may be wrong ? hard to beleive I can't find any reference to it on the net ?

ARE YOU REFERRING TO TIMMY & THE EMPIRES-GOT NO TIME FOR YOU WHICH AS DAVE PINCHES STATES CAME OUT ON A LIMITED PRESS BY GOLDMINE,JUST MENTIONING IT AS I GOT ONE MYSELF I, THINK FROM ANGLO-AMERICAN ROUND ABOUT THAT TIME,GOOD DANCER T'OTHER SIDES NOT BAD EITHER THO' CAN'T THINK OF THE TITLE OF TOP OF THE HEAD.

REGARDS.

It originally emerged on a Impact Sound Recording Studio acetate out of Philadelphia. I think Time Ashibende found it and sold it to Carl Fortnum. It's 'Got No Time' and 'I Want My Lovin' From You' by Timothy Carr. I seem to remember the Goldmine press one title is a slightly different mix with guitar (?) and not as spartan as the acetate version.

Thats the baby , thanks for clearing up the mystery . I now realise why it's not a familiar sound to my ears and not played out thatmuch.

Great sound :D

There are 2. Mine came from one of the engineers from the studio. Both sides are great soul tunes..
