I've kept my old collection of mainly cheap pressings from the 70's to this date and have recently added to them. Amongst the old stuff, I thought, may be the odd original, so I bought the Manship guide to Bootlegs . . Northern Soul Top 500 . . to try and help me have an idea of values, etc. The Manship guide has supplied me plenty of disappointment to what I thought were, weren't.

The one thing it doesn't help me on is the Kapp white demo, black writing - Rubin - You've been away. Can't for the life in me remember where I got it from.

Also noticed on another thread that Chuck Wood on Bigt may be worth something, can anyone help me with some info please.

Hi Dave,

I presume you mean "Seven Days Too Long", in which case a UK Big T issue would, I guess, sell for about £15. Maybe Mick Smith can correct me here? Hope that's right, that's what I sold mine for a few years ago!

There's another single by him on the label "I've Got My Lovelight Shining" - possibly worth around £8 - £10.

Thanks Gene, it is 7 days too long. Don't like it that much really, must be one of the least played in my box.

The original demo will have a red 'A', the boots are all B&W
