Posted November 20, 201014 yr hi all. anybody know anything about this. can an artist demand that a 45 of his be taken down. bearing in mind that the 45 is 40 odd years old. if there was an infringement would youtube take it down anyway. any advice ,tips appreciated dave

Here is the youtube complaint page: https://www.youtube.com/t/dmca_policy If an artist just asks you to take it down, that doesn't really mean anything.

November 20, 201014 yr I was emailed year before last or so by Prince someone... modern artiste (Prince Phillip Mitchell?).... who wanted to send me some tracks for my jukebox... so I got them, listened and didn't like them but uploaded them anyway only to be emailed by his secretary some time afterwards citing legal action and copyright. I gladly removed his tracks... some people!
