What would you say was a realistic price these days, Ted?

Not a record you see for sale much, and a good 'un.

I have not seen it in the most recent months but there have been more than a few for sale over the last few years. Manship seemed to have some copies a couple of years ago and I know Craig Moerer had it in stock some time back too. I don't think one would have any problem getting rid of it at £75 or slightly more. I sold a VG+ copy for £50 (or maybe it was £60, don't remember) a couple of years ago.

This is one 45 that sure hasn't kept up with inflation.

I got mine from Ian Clark in about 1985 for £25.00. It was a straight choice between Bill Wright and a Corey Blake on Capitol for the same sum. I reasoned that a major label 45 would be far easier to buy in the future. How wrong can you be?

Still love all Bill Wright 45s, though. In fact, I've started playing another of his Midtown singles, "You Can't Let The Right Hand Know..." again: it sounds pretty good now.
