This is different lol as many of you know football is a passion of mine possibly as much as the soul thing well I do support the best team in the land, trying to put together a Soul Allday BBQ in May/June at Hyde Football Club and had this mad idea to perhaps turn it into a Northern Soul Six A Side knockout, so basically would like to test the water here and invite any of you x footballers to polish your football boots and get some teams together, could be Soul Club, DJ teams etc. ladies welcome too, not only will this be a fantastic day it will I'm sure be a huge laugh, I played in a Dads team for my son a couple of years ago in goal so if I can do it then anyone can and I had not played in thirty years lol so inviting anyone who can put a team together to get in contact with me then we can take it from there, we can all get totally knackered then eat, drink and enjoy a few soul tunes in the social club throughout the day, contact bicknellmark@aol.com or via PM here 0161 330 6267, be good if we could get a 100 Club 6, New Century 6, Lifeline 6 and so on, to see the likes of Mr Dyson, Croasdell, Butch, Banks, Jo Wallace, Chalky etc. etc. in a pair of shorts would alone be worth the admission fee to the dayer lol
