While looking on Ebay I saw a Herb Ward-Strange Change DJ copy,,, brown label Argo,, looks exactly same as the Original DJ copy.,, but listed as a 70s lookalike reissue.

. Does anyone have any info on the original?,, deadwax, matrixs etc, so I know what to look out for, or dont end up getting a lookalike boot instead of an orig DJ copy.

Thanks

orig has a sctatched virtue stamp, at 5 oclock. a number13953 scratched at 1 o clock and 65c 8993 at 11 oclock but this has been scratched out.. only ever seen white demo 70`s boots. if this has been done its only a recent boot i`d say

If you read the description in full it says...

70S 2ND ISSUE OF THESE CURRENT MONSTER SOUND WITH COPIED ORIGINAL LABELS LOOKS LIKE THE REAL THING REALLY CONVINCING

Take that to mean the white label boot with photocopied labels pasted on

Brickiesondecks these are my ebay sales and I have made it clear in the listing this is not an original by stating "this is not an original" and then stating

"70S 2ND ISSUE OF THIS CURRENT MONSTER SOUND WITH COPIED ORIGINAL LABELS LOOKS LIKE THE REAL THING REALLY CONVINCING"

I dont think I could be more transparent there is no ambiguity here at all these were purchased last year from a scootering dj and are described as they are all this sort of stuff normally goes on ebay just to get shot of it and always starts at £1.

Cheers Darren

Darren,

I never suggested or insinuated that there was anything dishonest about your listing. I am merely trying to check if my own copy is an original or a clever boot.
