I can only assume they couldn't get the necessary rights? Maybe Ady if he reads this will give you the reason?

a) because it's a different Jackie Day and

b) because the Jackie Day on Tuff is a MAN! :D:rofl::wicked:

...not because we can't get the rights to Tuff (in fact we can and have used Tuff material on Kent CDs before...)

Ah did wonder that,in fact when I have played that record out people have asked if

that was a man or women on the Tuff record.

thought she had a wide vocal range :D

still see that record for sale billed as soul legend Jackie Day.

thanks for clearing that up.

sorted that, I can't even remember last time I listened to Jackie Day on Tuff and can't remember what it even sounds like. I've just dug out the Tuff CD and the male Jackie Day does sound a bit effeminate.

What're you saying Chalky? That the "TUFF" Jackie Day has the voice of a woman, or that he's a bit cuddly?

1. (of a man or boy) displaying characteristics regarded as typical of a woman; not manly

2. lacking firmness or vigour

[from Latin eff"ž"min"žÂre to make into a woman, from f"ž"mina woman]

:-)

Had a review copy of this maybe two weeks ago, and got to say it's the best thing Kent have put out (or at least that has found it's way to me from the editor) in a long time. It's been getting some heavy abuse in this househild :)

Where can we read your review, tried the links in your signature but get the message failed to open the page all the time.

Scootering magazine Chalky. Not the issue hitting the newsagents next week, the one after - I think......

Must get round to removing those links!
