Just paid 5.00 pounds for 'You're my Life' Motown 1291 DJ, sounds ok. Has it been/Is it known? If so is it worth more?

Cheers

Great track (also love "spread the news") but it's only "gonna find a true love" that fetches any $, but if it's have been played? That i don't know..

I played "you're my life" once or twice maybe 4 years or so ago, it is the flip of popular dancer "Gonna Find A True Love" which only appears on the issues, since the DJ's have "You're My Life" on both sides.

It is not worth much more than £5, maybe £10 - £15 at the most.

Their version of LOVE PAIN is also pretty good!

I know their four non-LP titles on two 45s.

Anyone know other tracks?

Have to say, whenever I think of Bottom and Company, somehow Ade Edmonson and Rik Mayall come into my mind!!

Version? Which love pain is it? Same as Willie Clayton on Kirstee?

Sorry Leo, can't remember clearly.

The one was in Major Lance's New Arrival LP...I guess.

I have remembered that the original of that was by a instrumental group like Jr. Walker or someone.

Ok might not be the same i'm afraid, well check Willie Claytons "love pain" out, really good modern, the intro is a little cheesy but after that it's just really good! And cheap!

Bottom & Companys version of "Gonna find a true love" absolutley blinds the Patterson Twins version...........
