Recently picked this up.

A copy of the Perma-Hit release in a sleeve with (presumably) original period scribble which says:

"Vanessa Henley, leader of the Sharp-ette's
[mis-spelling according to group name on label]
. Henry Smith Jr. is the manager. 8981911."

I suspect that they were a local Detroit group. I never heard anything about their names, or if they appeared in any of the Detroit venues back in the mid '60s.

I love the label name Perma-Hit - reminds me of Perma-Frost - but a great concept - a permanent hit ...

Keep Looking (But I Guess I'll Never Find Him) is a totally charming girl group record.
