After being in & out of northern, modern & crossover I currently find its mid-tempo stuff that floats my boat.

Sample tune attached.

Are there are any clubs playing this, or any individual DJs championing the cause?

Or am I stuck in this groove alone?

I love the Chicago stuff. I've got loads of 45's which I bought over the years in the Windy City. Some of which are now apparently worth big money.

I'm going to post up some more Chicago mid tempo stuff later (now I've got recording from vinyl to PC set up).

Cheers

got to comment on this one  rock n co was a 45 that was around in abundance years ago and was a regular in everyones "ten bob " box, but as some one very wisely stated on another thread "they were all cheap once" bought this years ago as an oddity version of the imperial wonders and because it was on the same label as the re-issue of midnight brew, played it a couple of times and stuck it in a box somewhere, just played it on the link and it sounds great, and guess what, can i find my coy, can i f--- as like whistling.gif
