August 17, 201212 yr Not the greatest version have ever heard, just plods along tempo wise, try the Little Woo Woo version on Heat, that'll get you moving! Or plenty of others on this thread: Edited August 17, 201212 yr by pomonkey
August 17, 201212 yr Author Cheers, (and for the link, though cant find the Little Woo Woo version) - but back to my original question though, anybody know 'owt about the Torchmen in particular? Edited August 17, 201212 yr by mark w.
August 17, 201212 yr Isn't it from Detroit? From memory it's a Sound Inc. subsidiary label similar design to Sound (Gary Haines / Dave Hall style) Edited August 18, 201212 yr by Tony Smith
August 20, 201212 yr Looks like it was part of the Houston, TX label "Dart" .....according to the global dog discography anyway. But, I see the similarity to the Detroit "Sound inc" label. Namely the stars but also possibly the music clef.
August 20, 201212 yr Probably just a rip off version of the Traits then. The Traits were from Houston and did Harlem Shuffle after they fell out with Roy Head. Edited August 20, 201212 yr by Steve G

I know Howard Walker (Sound Inc.) mentioned to me he traveled to Nashville often. He must of had a distribution connection there or he moved there for a short time. i forget exactly. I know Gary Haines was definately from Detroit.
