Picked up a copy of

Earl Carter - Shake Your Po Po - Princess

It was in super clean condition, and was very cheap. Has this record been reissued, and if not - is it rare, and what is a realistic value for it. I don't normally bother with these sort of posts , but Manship's tome of all knowledge has it listed at £500!!! So I got to thinking that I better check this tune out , before putting it for sale at £12, which I had it priced at.

Many thanks

The popsike copy was pretty beat. I know I've seen other copies in that price range, maybe more like 400. It could be one of those funk records that has long peaked and tanked, though. Myself, I would buy their LP instead which has IMO a better version of "Shake..." plus some other excellent songs.

It's definitely long peaked, back when it used to be big on the Funk scene sold a lovely close to mint one for either $900 or $1,000, would suspect could cut that in half these days
