hi,

just heard this on radio 2,

jack white / i'm shakin'

there was a thread on about this little willie john record last week,

which version was best ist or 2nd, i like them both,

jack white's version is a very long 3rd in my opinion,

anyone else heard it yet ??

yeah I've had the album since it came out, like it, not comparing it to LWJ though. I also like The Blasters version but again no comparison.

Use to love all that mid 80's stuff that came out on Slash and the likes - Blasters, Violent Femmes , Los Lobos et - with the Robert Cray and all the 'Paisley underground ' and the emerging IRS R.E.M. there was some fine music emanating from the US. I think Jack white has followed on in they footsteps to some degree.

the jack white version gave me all the symptoms the song suggests, coupled with deep disgust and a fair bit of malice :facepalm:

Just heard the Jack White version, via you tube, i prefer this to LWJ seems  quite a bit faster. wouldn't want to dance to it LOL
