Top tune!! Same here £5 for mine 19 years or so ago.. Can't believe how much it's shot up in price! Crazy money!!

Big bonus there Jim is how very little we used to pay for great tunes all those years ago. Not us paying the silly money. Picking up those cheapie semi unknowns cos they were magic records was simply that :) There is also the downside, all the hard records we did strive to pick up and never did are now way out of my price range :-(

Must admit I have never paid "silly money" for a record

Most I EVER paid was £100 and that was 20 odd years ago

Like you and dave, I picked things up when the going was good, but I never bought into the "big record" thing

Loads of great records out there without spending a fortune
