This 45 was officially issued twice back in the US ...............

First in 1963 when Roulette were trying to break Sam & Dave as a hit act and then again in 1966 when the duo were making hits for Stax.

Can't tell if the 45 on ebay is a US or Canadian copy.

I'm only aware of two takes. The Uk King release with little or no femme backing. And the US / Canadian take, complete with full femme backing. Is somebody saying there's a third take?

this canadian want has come up before on here, i too have the uk and usa 45 i even think i posted them up in refosoul many years ago

So did the Canadian copy come out in 1963 or 1966 ???

If it was 1966, it could have had bits added (femme backing vocals) to make it sound more up-to-date.
