Has the "Sydney Joe Qualls - So Sexy - 20th Century - Chi-Sound Records" L.p. (with "I don't do this" on it) ever been re-issued?

I've got one here but not sure if its a real one or not?

I've never heard of the LP being re-issued. Apart from the differences in logo Chi / 20th) the sleeves and the labels look pretty much the same, although all the Chi-Sound copies I've seen have had a small (gold) stamp saying 'Demonstration - Not for Sale' or words to that effect.

Don;'t think they would re-issue it for the 2 tracks, it did not sell in the first place,

how ever "i don't do this " has been Bootlegged& re-issued on 45s to meet demand.

There are SJQ - So Sexy re-presses - on Chi-Sound -

I guess the main differences would be quality of print on sleeve & label / thickness of sleeve ( originals tended to be thicker??? ) - At a guess. Was your LP sealed when bought ? Some folks have tried to pass off some of these re-presses as originals... great artist BTW

Went to see Sidney Joe about 10 years ago at the Jazz Cafe with Brotherly Love and he was great, really good fun as well. He joined us for a pint of Stella and let me try his funky glasses on
