Great stuff Geoff, If you ever get chance to contribute to anything on the forums at modculture.com, I'm sure they'd love to hear your memories etc.

they sorely need it mik sometimes

yes it only rarely transcends than exceedingly banal

Seeing as modculture is so shit (as you both seem to think), you both seem to spend a lot of time on there.

That's cos no profile was filled in. I get between 10-20 spammer a day applying to join - as it says on the "before you join" bit, the only way to differentiate between spammers and genuine people is via a profile.

I've authorised it now, but as Mik and Davie say, it's as dull as dishwater, so I wouldn't bother. I'd recommend

- I hear their forums are amazing.

dave you can't get all arsey because some of the sections of the forums are dull , thats not a reflection on you it's on some of the people who use them , just like there are bits on here a don't like either

Davie

Dave, I didn't say it was shit, I said it was banal. As all forums are, as life mostly is. And I mostly add to that banality, partly because I dont have any interesting stories from the 60s to tell, like the chap here does.

Light hearted banter is nice, but ultimately banal, and I thought this man's stories would be comparatively interesting - on this site or any other.

Forums are like going to the pub every day and chatting to your mates, only occasionaly are you going to hear something interesting.

I'm sure you would agree with me that most people have f*** all of interest to say, me included. So dont get all arsey when I point it out and don't take everything as a personal attack.

My interest is music & records, and certainly when it comes to writing into a computer, that's pretty much where my interest starts and ends. It is a fact that the music / records section is dull on there, probably reflecting the somewhat half-hearted attitude to music / records on the mod scene in general. For what possible reason am I out of order for mentioning that that's the case as I see it?

You know I'm enthusiastic and positive as anyone, if you got a problem with me, I dont fucking know what it is.
