April 6, 200619 yr His "There Goes My Sanity" is an outstanding record. Played as new in the Deep room at Essence. RIP Sean HampseySean, I don't know the record maybe a sound bite. The guy was only 31 that such a sad loss and a career cut short.
April 6, 200619 yr LDH - Along side your Ola / Omar / genuine talent - Saw him live at Jazz Cafe a few years ago and the guy was brilliant - really had the crowd with him. You wont go far wrong picking up his albums - Sadly missed - both the man and genuine soulful UK talent. ATB Rich
April 6, 200619 yr Always liked 'Do I Qualify' if only for the lyrics "I may be ugly as sin And he may look like a king But does he know how to treat you right" Track also samples Aretha's 'Chain of Fools'. Sad loss.
