Just bought this off eBay, Has anyone seen one before?

It is the Major live at the 'Torch' on tape but under another title.

I checked with the seller what the opening song was and he said

"it starts off with "another Martyn Ellis cock up", so I'm sure it is the

same recording.

Just wondered if anyone knew of the tape and why it was released under another title?

Update! After a little more research I have found out that it was actually a Belgium release on the 'Surprise' label, and was also issued as a vinyl album. Still strange that they should change the title?

  • Why strange that they changed the title? The Torch would mean sweet FA to any European buyer at the time of it's release.

:hatsoff2: HI A great find, I have a 8 track player plus SAGENT PEPPERS 8 TRACK, however the rarest cassettes & 8 tracks are TROJAN LPs TIGHTEN UP 1, & 2, AND THE CLASSIC RED RED WINES LP, All very rare items indeed, there may be other titles like JIMMY CLIFF "WONDERFUL WORLD", in fact I am going to play my rare demo in about 3 minutes time. DAVE Kpost-13241-0-89687100-1355267345_thumb.j PICKED THE WRONG ONE??
