Just bought this today, found it in a charity shop.

When I saw it it just reminded me of the old days hitch hiking to the nighters.

It's a limited edition canvas of only 250, and it only cost me a fiver. I love it.

It say on the authenticity certificate 'Inchpunch Design Agency' Never heard of them but might be worth having a look to see what else they've done.

Looks like they are a commercial design company who produce wall art and signage.

It will be interesting to see if the designer of this one was a Soulie or Mod? It certainly has NS undertones.

Just looking again it could well be, and the 'Stone Roses' being a northern (not music) band?

Just looked if the 'Roses' had anysingles or albums with 'North' in them, but no.

I had an email from the company that produced and designed the canvas, they weren't too happy that one ended up in a charity shop LOL!

Anyway they said that this canvas WAS inspired by Ian Brown in a joint venture with "Joe Brown', who are a studenty type clothing

company. So there ya go! I still think it has NS overtones.

Oh as a post script the canvas retailed at £199, so a fiver was a snip

personally i dont care if it was inspired by gorden brown ! lol !!! everyone will have there own interpretation of the canvas ! and mine is " cant wait till am in wigan casino !,morcambe,warrington,bradford,wolverhampton,stoke,manchester,100 club,mexburough,or the other way to,glenrothes fife,allanten miners welfare shotts,and others ive probably missed ! i used to have that look ! the "please please giz a lift" look ! lol KTF-micky p in the toon
