Hi Sousters!
I have come across as 7" single by Ray Barretto called 'Acid' with 'Mercy Mercy Baby' on the flip, on UK 'London' 1969

I have searched all over but can't find another to put a value to it. All I can find anywhere is the album of the same name 'Acid'

 

I wonder if anyone on here knows it, or know about it? I isn't really Soul, more Latin/Mod
 

Any ideas please, any info may help.

MERCY MERCY BABY great tune, used to play it myself, was played quite a bit on the northern scene.

"Mercy, Mercy, Baby" .............

A demo sold on ebay for $58.00 in March and a release sold in 2006 for 40 GBP. Hope that helps.

 HI ALL ...A excellent 2 sider that has risen n price over the last 10 years, must say that if you like the ACID A side then you have to get the LP ACID, the B side has had potential to go big  (I can't believe that it has not been played?) a great buy, £50 for the DEMO is about right, however if it took off, so would the price as I was a poor seller on release,  DAVE K 

 

 

 

Excellent and thank you all for the feedback. It seems that the 7" must be fairly hard to get hold of, I've looked on all of the sites that I know, and even Popsike hasn't any listed, or I couldn't see any.
