For me one of the stand out early tracks on volume 1 of the Stax/Volt CD set  was The Canes - Why do I suffer with the blues

 

Has anybody got a scan of this? Or know if it was released.

No sales on ebay according to popsike?

 

I have never seen a copy in over thirty years of collecting.

 

Is it the rarest record on the label?

I'm pretty sure this has been on ebay at least once (maybe twice, i remember seeing it twice). popsike is now useless, tons of data has been dropped from it for who knows why. still, very rare release obviously. but there are so many stax titles that there are ones i definitely haven't seen at all.

any idea of what one should expect to pay for a clean copy of this?

Got all bar about 15 of the numbers on US Stax 1962ish to 1968 and the Canes are missing from my collection but does exist. I'm working from Dave Rimmers discog and the Canes are listed there, and sure I have seen on Tim Browns site. Canes listed as cat no 123 by the way.
