B.B.P.  -  ( I'm In) The Prime Of Love / Funk You. Stang Records ST-5078. 1978

 

 

Label has a small pen cross mark on 'Prime Of Love' side, and a pen initials signature on the 'Funk You' side (record plays nice and clean on both sides).

First recording by Melissa Morgan, great soul track on one side, and a raw disco soul track on the flip-side.

 

A copy listed earlier this year on a soul list from a respected dealer had a slight warp to the vinyl (played fine) for £600.00

 

I'm looking for £525 + postage (recorded delivery/signed for)

Couple of tyre kicker enquires so far, but nothing firm!

Jees, amazing no one has bitten your hand off for this. I saw Mel'sa Morgan last year at the Jazz Cafe and after her performance got her to autograph my copy for me - Her face was a treat! Double take, stare and then a loud "OMG!". The promotor looked like "....well it's not even one of her records? What's this about?" Priceless.

Such a good record - surprised this hasn't gone. Two good sides   
 

Thanks for the heads up guys, as you say a fantastic double-sider with two very different styles of music.

 

Considering one was up for £600 with a slight warp earlier in the year, then as mentioned, a good price for a copy in great condition....
