I look at his site but I don't bid, I think paying, say, £75 for a £75 record is fair not prob £200 on his site

Picked one up in a 2nd hand record shop,probably mid 90's for £2.Hard to believe since it was a Stafford spin...... but there it was with my name on it.Can't remember where/when i sold it.

A tune that is always a winner...sure I heard this at the Torch way back.

Had it ..sold it... had it...sold it...now have it again.

Must have something going for it.

£100 record all day.

Strangely enough a record that oozes class and is relatively well-known yet still has that air of collectability...well inmho anyway.

A real "one-off" actually.

It is a fabulous, fabulous record.

I'm not surprised it being auctioned because it's a truly class record - one off sound, as someone said above.

Imagine it was one of your top wants and you just had to have it.

The reason it is being auctioned must surely be because the current owner saw it as fetching a decent price at auction, and John will have done too. His auctions are always a real mix, not just big ticket items, but a collection of interesting items - it's not all about price.

Good luck to the seller and to JM I say.

It's not my record by the way - although if it was it would be nice seeing the auction price going up and up.
