going to see five soul bands from the west coast (california and one from portland). i am excited. will we see more of this?

bands were really good. lots of originals and good cover versions of ...

 

"sweep it out in the shed"

 

"gonna send you back to georgia"

 

"coming home in the morning"

 

"he ain't no angel" ...and others

 

most of the bands had dozen or so members - some had 5-6 good horns, 4-5 vocalists. really full, quality sound! and mostly youngsters (mid 20s)

 

 

...the point of the thread was to see if (over in merry old england) you had young soul revival groups like this springing up.
