just a script reading but as you can read/hear there's some northern soul influence

 

 

 

Background to this piece:
DAMON and his dad STEVE live on the Jackdaw council estate, Oxford, surrounded by Steve's collection of Northern Soul paraphernalia. Records spill out of vintage record boxes; flyers and posters litter the walls. Steve has just spotted his estranged wife LORRAINE, who abandoned them both years ago. It looks like she's moved back to the area...

Straight away you can tell its written by an outsider. Reads like Eastenders and sounds like it too.
