Could anyone give me the fare (+/-1 $ margin, don't have to be too precise) to get a normally well packed "signed for/registered" 45 from the USA to the EU ?

Even though it's registered you can still declare low customs value for $10 as I did. Sorry I don't have the exact prices, a little digging on www.usps.com will give you that.
