I was in Durham NC a few weeks back - my grandson was born there on 23 Aug - and I stumbled across this exhibition at the History hub in the city centre.   What a pleasant surprise and really well done, probably the best  thing of its kind I have seen celebrating Black Music - and Soul particularly - in the US.

Looks like a lot of time and effort have gone into this project. Impressive and informative from what I've seen so far. Looking forward to delving a bit deeper later.
