I just heard from Tim Brown(his trusty aide and employer) that Rick Foster has sadly passed away.

Working at Anglo American for many years, Rick was a real calming influence to us manic collectors and industry types.

I liked him immensely and his musical integrity was second to none, even though we forced him to sell the 'North of Watford series on CD(in joke).

The legendary night in Clapham to see Wilson Pickett will stay with me forever.

A happy and thoroughly decent bloke. Rest in peace dear friend.

Over to you Tod/Burnley/Hebden areas for your own tributes.

We'll miss you Rick...TRULY x
