Pain has also been recorded by Nova's Nine on ABC and also Michael & The Mystics, but the label escapes me there. I've always thought that the Nova's Nine version was the original, but perhaps someone else can either confirm or deny that.

 

It's got more of a garage feel than Little Flint, and is a little faster paced but ultimately sells for a lot less.

 

I think Little Flint were from the Ohio area, again as I seem to recall that the Beast label was based there. It's certainly risen in value over the past few years, possibly due to its popularity on the Mod scene...
