Have yet another version of this Mark, Downbeats on Trail out of Tennessee, prefer as more garage sounding

I was just playing these tunes the other night . I prefer Why listen  but like the Pain tune all the same.

Such a shame in the read up  that talent gets done over by the corporate  Giants again.

Must agree 'Why Listen' is my preferred side, but at the end of the day there is no denying these guys did spawn something with "Pain".

Bought 'Pain' blind in a Newcastle upon Tyne junk shop full of USA stuff for 5p in 1974. I never like but my mates did, never new they were a 9 piece until now. Good post!

Great article. Allways loved novas nine's pain, such a depressed teenage feel on it.

Are there 45 from Grass roots pain? I remember that somebody once mentioned japanese only 45. Any help? Might like to have copy.
