  • I'm not sure Toni, so far I have found these three issues. I would love to know the answer too.

There were some others.  There were one or two late Edwin Starrs, and records by one or two other artists (Detroit Emeralds?)  Didn't we have another thread discussing this that also had the label scans?

The other 45's Robb refers to were not on Ric Tic.

There are Detroit 45's on Reo and RCA International. I asked this question last week as I also have one 45 on each of Carla and Revilot on Canadian issue.

I have only found the 3 Ric Tic 45's so far and Martin Koppell has not found any others either.

Sorry about my misinformation.  I was going by my memory, which was clearly wrong.  We had a thread on Canadian Detroit releases some years ago that discussed this.  I guess I remembered having seen those red Ric Tic Edwin Starrs, and thought they were also Canadian Ric Tic, but they must then be bootlegs.

According to discogs there is a Canadian RT136 too.

Makes you wonder if the other missing numbers above were available

in Canada too.

Presumably Canadian issues would have stopped when Berry Gordy got

his grubby paws involved.
