Craig here folks,

Wondering if anybody can help out. I'm putting together interesting content for my Peckham Soul site (www.peckhamsoul.co.uk). It's focuing on Soul and reggae music in Peckham. The son of a Peckham milkman, Dave Godin was born there. An incredibly important figure in bringing soul music to a UK audience, I wondered if anybody had any stories, photos, or other information relating to Dave which I could incorporate into the feature?

Any help is more than appreciated. My emails is info@peckhamsoul.co.uk

Hi Okeydoke

Dave's dad worked as a roundsman for United Dairies, 35 West Street, Bexleyheath. I am currently writing an account of the Tamla Motown Appreciation Society and similar details about Dave's background will be covered.

A big thanks for your posts folks. Looking re-reading his SKM Dave.Yeh Adey, think they were bombed out of Peckham so he spent a big part of his childhood in Bexleyheath, which is east of Peckham and a bit further out.
