im clearing out all my 'northern' records (oldies) and would like to take a box to a soul night/venue .  Anyone know of do's local ish to me that allow? 

East mids, Peterborough, Derbyshire, sth Yorkshire etc 

 

Look on events Ian P there's loads,most stipulate if they have a record bar.if not take a box anyway.

When has anyone ever needed permission to take a small sales box into a venue? 

I thought it would be polite to ask..

If you're setting up a table's worth then its best to ask. Just a 50/100 box should be ok at most venues.Whenever i've bothered locally with a 25/50 box never sold owt.Mind you i only take the shi*te with me.
