September 12, 20159 yr Way before my time, but guessing this was 'Kojak' who was also behind the Inter-City Soul Club stuff in the mid-70s as well. Probably way off the mark!!
September 12, 20159 yr Chris Burton Who ran the International Soul Club promoting events, after the Torch closed, just produced a load of different badges. Lancashire, Yorkshire etc. There was probably a South West one. Perhaps this is what you mean. There wasn't a club just a badge. Paul

Paul Badge is the clenched fist with South West International Soul Club text above it. I just assumed it was a regular club. Thanks for the info

October 4, 20159 yr they did a few all dayers around the gloucester/bristol area just after the torch shut,i have a flyer for one somewhere ,maxies in gloucester........... among the djs were local guys allied to pep,soul twins , alan day blue max... i think............it heralded the start of the commercialisation of the scene............inter city soul club was another one.....made me lose interest in it for a long time really............ez.......
