I have this song by the Fabulous Peps, but I saw an episode of the TV show "The Wire" and it featured another version of the song (slower). Anyone know who it might be?

Possibly The Fiestas on Old Town or VIGOR

The VIGOR version has Johnny Otis credits and is more uptempo than the Old Town version.

Could also be The Chambers Brothers version.

thanks for response! so...i checked the Fiestas page on "soulfulkindamusic" and they note that the song was also done by the Shantells and the Shieks. after listing to all these versions on youtube, i think the version i'm looking for is the Sheiks. not totally sure cuz on the Wire it is playing in a dude's car and its not that easy to hear...

As I haven't seen The Wire I am just guessing.
