Soul in the Basement @ Barrels, Berwick on Tweed. 19th March.

Great night. Big thanks to Brian Cardno for the invite and all the nice comments, feedback and dancing to what I played, - which evolved into a bit of a ‘Dekkas Roots Room’ set. Hope to see as many of you that can get across to Whitby for the National Scooter Rally over the Easter Weekend - Saturday afternoon and evening sees 'Dekkas Roots Room' at The Buck Inn for Charity Soul UK to fund the ground breaking research being undertaken by Professor Norman Maitland and his team to find a cancer cure.

In no particular order...

Gregory Issaes ‘open the door to your heart’

Little Emmett Sutton ‘mom, won’t you teach me to monkey’

Sally Stanley ‘I’ll have to let you go’

Louis Jordan ‘old age’

Latin Dimension ‘mr mod’

Laurel Aiken’s All Stars ‘skin head organ invasion’ – dedicated to Deka

Tommy T and the Targets ‘sales pitch’

Harold Jackson ‘freedom riders’

Anna Belle Caeser ‘little annie’

Wicked Lester ‘gay with an e’

Delroy Wilson ‘baby I need your loving’

Prince Buster ‘train to girls town’

Sugarpie Desanto ‘going back to where I belong’

Pete Terrace ‘no!no!no!

Isonics ‘sugar’

Marvin Gaye – ‘whats going on’ – street beat reggae remix

Gizzelle 'I’m a good woman’ – best version imho

Lydia Marcelle ‘everybody dance’
