Both choons do have a similarity to them but I cant find any possible connection.

Sonny & Cher choon written by Prolific song writer Mark Barkan - Emperor of My Baby's Heart - Manfred Mann's Pretty Flamingo and the Banana  Splits theme etc

Marsha Brody Choon is written Cathy Lynn who did some other stuff on Heart & Soul Label but interestingly is arranged by Artie  Schroeck who co-wrote Paul Anka's Cant Help Loving You.

I wonder if Marsha Brody is actually"Linda November" Artie's Wife who was a prolific advert jingle singer etc who he recorded with the fantastic Norther track "A Time For Us"on Columbia as Artie & Linda 

I have never actually heard the Sonny & Cher track ever played out - not say it hasn't had spins
