Never seen a demo of this (or the Riley Hampton 45 on Carla You?). I was under the impression that this was recorded in Detroit. Not sure of point of manufacture though. I didn't think he started cutting records in Detroit until about 1965-66. Whatever, the ballad side of this is fantastic! I wouldn't pay two hundred quid for it or anything close, but it's a fabulous example of the Chicago-style girl group sound (Opals, Gems, early 'Fasinations' etc). TONE
