November 27, 200618 yr Bought mine in Florence train station luggage shop, but I guess it's a bit far from Sussex, isn't it, Simon...? How are you mate...? Roccia
November 27, 200618 yr Most luggage departments in large stores will do them - for the old biddies whose muscles have withered away the red tartan ones are very popular around here.... and the bus drivers will lower the side of the bus for senior citizens when you get on

Roccia Very well cheers Roccia, hope you're in fine fettle also. Florence sounds great but think i'll settle for Paul's suggestion of North Road, Brighton, a tad nearer! Simon
November 27, 200618 yr Anyone know where you can get the trolleys to wheel yer record boxes along the street? Many thanks in advance Simon Swan will make to order record boxes with built in wheels and extending handles but i think they can only do them in a 400 capacity size and they're not cheap, but then you get what you pay for, if you need any info contact the guys at swan they're very helpful
November 28, 200618 yr i got through a couple of the normal suitcase carrier ones .... too flimsy. got one like this in the end: get this one here: https://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p...=2067&g=109
November 28, 200618 yr seeing as how most soul nights have 38 dj's in 5 hours and generally any tunes played are already known, is it not easier just to take less records out with you than buy an industrial trolley? just an observation

November 28, 200618 yr probably a fair bit of truth in what you say for most soul nights and guest DJ's .... but we carry loads of records just in case (at one stage between 2 of us we had 2 x 600 boxes, 2 x 200 boxes ... and an album box each too!!!!! .... just in case ) ... and we only have one guest DJ. i've got these now though: https://www.magma-bags.de/web/e/produkte/singlebag_300.php3 https://www.magma-bags.de/web/e/produkte/singlebag_150.php3 still use the heavy duty trolley for getting in and out of venues with boxes. well ... they're pretty sturdy dave .... and good value compared to £15 or £20 for a lightweight luggage one.

November 29, 200618 yr the magma bags i ordered from germany ....... i got the green camouflage ones. i think it was from here: https://www.deejaydiscount.de/index.php?cPa...1a2b8c790babcf5 they are pretty sturdy, obviously not as strong as a flight case, but much easier and lighter to transport.
