January 2, 200718 yr was due to be released on grapevine 2000 i have the white demo So have I nestled amongst a brace of other tasty GRP demos https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/ Cheers Steve
January 2, 200718 yr I also have white demo copies 2no tucked away in my collection. Your best off asking Dave Welding why it was withdrawn etc. I bet Sam was a bit peed off when it was going to be issued, once his big play. (and before anyone asks mine are not for sale yet). Paul Mooney is on here as Millbrand he also may be able to help with the answer as to why it was withdrawn etc..
January 3, 200718 yr -->QUOTE(C.B @ Jan 2 2007, 03:43 PM) link Anybody knows why it was withdrawn by Grapevine? I think it was a problem with Percy himself not wanting it coming out, John and Gary did tell me, but I can't remember fully. Still a great record, and regular play for me.
January 3, 200718 yr Thanks for the info! Can't understand, however, why the singer didn't want this one to be reissued Would be great to learn more about Mr.Stone, though. And perhaps even see a picture. CB
