Thanks for the link Mike. I didn't know about this book and would love to read it. Eddies such a big talent in soul music, a great writer, singer , producer, arranger. He has the lot. Eddies been in the game for 65 years, right back to the doo-wap days.

I think of Eddie in the same way as i do with the likes of Ben E King, Percy Sledge, or even James Brown. When you've had big million seller hits you become thought of as pop or mainstream music in the UK but these guys are as soulful as they come. They sold millions because they were good.
