Tom (duo) is supposed to be Tommy Dark (Robert Tharpe) and I am hoping no reason to doubt

Please can we shed more light on the writer and producer Tom Moers (Thomas Moers)

Is there any reason that history is incorrect/correct and the Tom could really the writer and producer and not was has been written or is it just my imagination and coincidence

Mr. Moers also was involved with these two-
