Cyril's recording career included 'Hard Times' with The Majestics on the Contour label in the late 1950s, and later with Two Plus Two on Velgo. Here's his obituary:

Cyril (left) in his basement studio in Detroit approx twenty years ago. He was well aware of the Northern Soul scene.

Also in the photo is Arthur Walton (centre) and James “Pee Wee” Crawford (right) of The Distants. James was also in The Magnetics.

Cyril was a true gentleman.
