Just wandered as I do now and then, I can’t honestly remember so many Soul nights being held and so many new soul records coming on to the market etc.
It’s not a complaint and I’m asking to see if anyone else feels the same. I used to look forward to special nights here and there every other week. Now there are multiples on in the same areas on the same nights and most nights of the week, as well as cramming some in on the days (ffs).
like I say if you missed one back in the day you had withdrawal symptoms, but now you can go somewhere the next day lol.
I can’t remember there being so many so are we at the height of Northern Soul popularity ?
secondly I’m frightened to listen to half of these new releases as I’m sure there would be nothing in the fridge lol.
