The tune starts 

It's the end od another day and I've been working hard,Thats when you came in to Brighton up my day.

This tune has been in my head all week but cannot find out who it is by.

Can anybody help please.

It's a 70s tune and it's by a group . It could possibly be called  either 

I like spending my time with you or something similar
