I have an 8 inch Audiodisc acetate but have never been able to identify the song. It is an Instrumental, and has Mamie Galore "Too Many Menories" instrumental on the flip.

It came as one of two Acetates, the other one alco  being an 8 inch Audiodisc single (this one was a single sided disc with the backing to "Nobody's Baby Am I").

I've had them about 12 years or so, and always felt the unnamed inst was connected to Maurci / St. Lawrence / Thomas  or even a Topper backing, but I've been through everything I could find, and not hit on it.

I don't think it sounds remotely enough to be related to "(You Better) Do It Right Now", which is a significantly slower tempoed bluesy sounding song.  The melody is different, too.  It does definitely sound like it was a Chicago recording, rather than a Dave Hamilton Detroit recording.  But, I have no idea to which song it belongs.

The more I listen to "Truth" by Monique. the more I feel it could be the same band and similar instrumentation, albeit a different song.

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree, but I'm tending towards an abandoned Maurci song, or if not, a St Lawrence recording, which would link it to its other side "Too Many Memories".

I've just realised I'd never considered Satellite records, quite few I've not heard there,

Just hoped it was going to be easy to locate its vocal, if one ever existed.
