Anyone have any information on Sam Dees in 2023 ?

Is he alive and well ?

Is he still making music ? Actively involved in the business ?

I just hope he's having some quality time now after a long career. His music and song writing will endure for us all here.

Last I heard (a few years back), he'd moved to Nashville (from LA) but had retired. I'm sure if he'd passed, we'd have heard.

He was living on the West Coast before Covid. I looked him up on an on-line directory and found part of his address. I wasn't prepared to pay the fee to join for full details. He seems to have retired from songwriting. If you are prepared to be patient and interested it's surprising what you can find.

Just yesterday I found Bobby Harris and his brother Alfred Harrison. There were some photos of Bobby at a Mets game. He performs but rarely under the name Rod Harris & the Xcels. A gospel CD was released under this name some years back and as recently as as c  2017 he and his brother cut a CD called 'Mighty'. Al is Bishop Harrison.

Sorry to have gone off target but I thought someone might be interested.
