Very interesting. Certainly does sound like Carl. Curious to see if anyone can shed some light on it.

And while we are talking Carl Hall, WHY is there nothing digitally available, even a Youtube rip, of He Gets Everything He Wants - Mercury 72547?!?!?!?!

There was a thread on Facebook in the Rare Soul Talk group about this last year, assumed title is "They Say" or "Run Run Run", but no one came up with any definitive answer. Must be Carl Hall singing.

Longer soundclip here:

I have this record and there's a definate mistake were Carl forgets the lyrics and replaces a sentence with a hum, hum, hum. A possibility is the record was withdrawn after realising they'd sent the wrong cut to the pressing plant and then repressed with a different track "What's Come Over You"

It's a styrene press so labels would of been added after the pressing. I think they pulled the record but some new labels ended up on the withdrawn discs.
