It might not be true.. picked up the info somewhere but now not so sure. But the Stevens part of the group, if true might have been a moonlighting job/job inbetween Rufus and going solo.

Reputedly Chaka's sister Taka Boom who is the female vocalist.

Hmmm ... the vocals on Stevens & Foster don't remotely suggest either Chaka Khan or Taka Boom and, sure, while musicians often move around geographically during their careers, neither Chaka nor Taka appear to have ever had a musical connection to Miami or Atlanta in the 70's;  TK Records in Miami distributed the Jerri label which was apparently based in Atlanta.
